Few days ago A Saudi-based hacking group hacked into Israeli sports website and leaked credit card details of 400 thousand Israelis .
Dov Kotler who is CEO of Isracard, a unit of Bank Hapoalim , said in a statement that ”5,200 of the credit card numbers listed by the hacker had been issued by his company. They had all now been blocked, he added.
The hacker, OxOmar who claimed to be of Saudi origin and a member of a Saudi Arabian hacking team, had leaked and spread the numbers and pin codes of 11,000 credit cards and hacked into several Israeli websites.
It was the second such cyber attack since Tuesday, when the same hacker leaked the numbers of another 14,000 Israeli working credit card numbers.
According to the media coordinator of The Bank of Israel, ”we are looking into the incident”
