Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) rejected peace talks offer after an all parties conference by Awami National Party (ANP).
TTP spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan said that the offer was just a party’s election move and termed it “old wine in a new bottle.”
Ehsan said the Taliban were waiting for a serious response on peace talks from the government and military.
“The non-participation of the Jamaat-i-Islami in the APC is also a clear indication that it was a failure,” he added.
Ehsanullah Ehsan was reading out a statement from an undisclosed location after a Taliban Shura meeting.
