Express Tribune Mocks Holy Scriptures in an Attempt to Promote Valentine’s Day

“Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?” (Al Qur’an 9:65)

In a time when the life of a human has lesser value than money, the concept of faith, hope, belief and justice has lost meaning. For most of us, what is presented to the eye, is what is true, as our minds have given up the imperative act of judgment and fallen victim to false facts being fed to us coated in palatable flavors.
This comes with a rather sour pill to swallow, when belief; that is supposedly meant to strengthen a crumbling wall of hope, is instead mocked and jested with the aid of a media that already waits like a bald vulture ready to attack and pull it’s bits to shreds.

Islam, the faith that makes the liberal class of our country rather  cringe in displeasure, is facing a direct attack this time:
It was only the 14th of February when the Tanzeem Organization thoughtfully came up with billboards highlighting the mere fact that Valentine’s is not only unIslamic, but also defies the concept of haya i.e. honor; for both, men and women; an element that plays a vital role in the Islamic society. The billboards only reflected solid verses from the Holy Qur’an and authentic Ahadith that in point of fact did not require any further argument.
But ETribune could not stand the sight of these simplistic banners, used by an organization to peacefully present its message pertaining the aspirations of a wide majority of the country. ETribune abetted a lady in her scheme to dishonor the very basis of sanity and civility of our nation, i.e. our faith and the Book that solidifies it, in her wild craving for a despicable form of love.
The lady resorted to a rather ineffective attempt to mock the words of Allah SWT and his Prophet by printing cheesy ”pyaar honey dey” remarks and standing right next to the billboards reflecting the verses, but in her misknowing she has by large committed an act of sacrilege to our faith, and a crime not to be allowed under any circumstances.
These are the  iyah’s she posed in front of:
Al Qur’an:
And if you ask them, they will surely say, “We were only conversing and playing.” Say, “Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?”
Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you – We will punish another faction because they were criminals.
[9:65-66]
Valentine’s is rather less important a mission to spread in the name of love; as what matters most is respect, which is being deliberately lost here; respect which has become hard to breed in a society that has already disintegrated to a level, such that it mocks it’s own Holy Book; thanks to the likes of the Express Tribune.
A rather disappointing stance that makes one wonder, what  were the reasons for such infidelity? The answer that comes to me is, feeding the Desperation of a cheated-upon nation with false hope.
“Indeed, the Qur’an is a decisive statement, And it is not amusement.”[86:13-14]
