The cold blooded murder of 27 Pakistani soldiers by American led NATO forces at Salala check post was not the first incident of its kind. It had happened before. After the Salala incident, Pakistan’s government and military leadership mobilized their media manipulation machine and in attempts to curb public anger announced that NATO supplies to Afghanistan had been blocked. It is interesting to note that Pakistan never stopped NATO’s air supply route at that time. Pakistan did make the Americans vacate Shamsi airbase which was supposedly to be vacated a few months earlier, the last time the Americans had killed three Pakistani soldiers. The CIA drone fleet continues to operate however. So despite all this propaganda, the people of Pakistan knew that this is nothing but a cheap drama and that these supply routes will reopen eventually. This is exactly what happened.
These incidents and many like this over the past decade have established an extremely dangerous precedent which is that America can get away with anything when it comes to dealing with Pakistan, including even murder of innocent Pakistanis. Be it women and children in the tribal areas or on-duty soldiers of Pakistan Army. All they have to do is give a shilly shally apology and shower some dollars around. It gets the job done.
So what should we do, the ordinary Pakistani asks. The answer to this is actually quite simple. The people need to come out on the streets and shout the slogan of the Arab Spring. Al Shab Ureed Isqaat An Nidham.
The people demand the fall of the system. This fall of system should be understood in some basic detail however. It should be a call for a complete removal of the current government and opposition parties. It should also include the removal of chief of Army staff General Kiyani because it is under his command that Pakistan Army has continued to behave as a mercenary Army for the Americans, a shameful continuation of the policies of ex president ex COAS General Musharaf. Not only these people should be removed from office but also tried for treason against Pakistan, for selling the blood of our Army jawans for a petty price.
Pakistan Army is now going to be severely tested. Either the Army officers stand against the treachery of their leaders who are serving America openly and their treason is not hidden from anyone or they continue to obey orders like the antics of General Yahya that resulted in splitting of a part of our country away from us. If the sincere are willing to do this, then Allah will surely help them in their efforts and we shall be able to break free from the shackles of corrupt governments, corrupt political parties and corrupt military officers as well as an endless cycle of debt ridden dysfunctional economy and disorganized society. For Muslims, a complete plan is available, documented and ready to be implemented. This plan worked for the Khilafat e Rashidah that transformed the backward Arabs into bearers of the light for all mankind. The detailed principles of that era can still provide solutions to our problems today. Otherwise the minions of Satanl shall keep selling us the drama and we as a nation will continue to buy it.
